The Strap That Started It All

It began with an order I needed to finish — a Cosmo Green and brown detail crossbody bag. I was almost done when I hit a snag: I didn’t have a piece of leather long enough for the strap.

Frustrated but determined, I turned to my fittings box and found a loop. With a bit of improvising, I joined two shorter leather pieces at the centre using the loop — just to get the job done. But when I stepped back, I realised something: it worked. It looked good. That unexpected little join gave the strap a unique detail — and it quickly became part of the design.

What started as a workaround is now a defining feature of the Original Crossbody. Every time I make one, it reminds me that creativity often comes from the corners — in the moments when you’re stuck, when you have to try something new.

This bag still carries that story — a bit of improvisation, a bit of instinct, and a design that just stuck.
